LET’S MOVE WALLER COUNTY IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
I am not an implant.
I was born right here in this county at the Hempstead Hospital in 1961. I am the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Van and Cecile Richardson, Sr. of Prairie View, Texas. (may God rest their souls) My father taught Chemistry at Prairie View A&M University for over 35 years. As well, he sold and repaired refrigerators, ovens, stoves, and mostly televisions at his ATOMIC TV Sales and Service off Old Houston Highway. My mom was secretary for Dr. Purvis Carter at Prairie View A&M University. Later, she taught 1st grade at Royal Elementary in Royal ISD until her retirement.
I am rooted!
I received my education at both Waller High School and Prairie View A&M University. After a robust 36-year teaching career, I retired from Waller High School; but, as fate would have it, I am back in the classroom as a “retire-rehire” in Waller County at Hempstead High School.
“Communication is Key”
Waller County, especially Precinct 3, is my true home. Therefore, it is time to lend my talent to advance our precinct in ways that are proficient, respectful, and equal. Communication is KEY to increase value for ALL constituents of the County.
